Who We Are
We are the Little Club That Could! We are the last remaining Fancy Club in the Philadelphia Mummers keeping the Fancy Division folk art alive. We are known for our big elaborate beautiful suits and the artform they represent. The Golden Sunrise mummers club values family, friends, inclusivity, diversity, individuality, teamwork, glitter, sequins, showmanship, joy and, of course, New Year’s Day!
It takes a multitude of skills and talents to run a club. No experience needed. We have suited up members in the spotlight as well as members who help out along the way or behind the scenes. We need creatives, we need doers, and we need muscle. Most of all, we need dedicated people with passion and heart!
